Does ROLA PetPal come with any accessories? How should I choose them?
The basic version of ROLA PetPal includes the main unit and storage module. To access features like AI-powered automatic pet teasing, you'll need to purchase the ROLA PetPal Interactive Toys separately — simply swap out the storage module from the basic version to use them together. Similarly, for automatic treat dispensing, you'll need the ROLA PetPal Treat Dispenser, which also works by swapping the storage module.
Can ROLA PetPal be set to patrol a designated path?
No. ROLA PetPal doesn't have intelligent path-planning capabilities, so it can't patrol along a set route.
How loud is ROLA PetPal when it's running? Will it disturb the rest of the family?
ROLA PetPal uses a quiet brushed motor that produces very little noise during operation, so it won't disturb your family or pets. In a 44.7-decibel room, running at speed setting 70, the sound level measures between 56.4 and 63.7 decibels within 30 cm of the robot.
Is the angle of the playful stick fixed?
No, the vertical angle is adjustable. You can choose from three height settings in the app.
Is the feeding module difficult to clean?
Not at all — the feeding module can be removed separately for easy cleaning.
Does ROLA PetPal have obstacle avoidance and fall prevention?
ROLA PetPal has automatic obstacle avoidance — it slows down when it detects an obstacle to avoid collisions. However, it does not have fall prevention.
Can ROLA PetPal climb stairs?
No, it can't.
Are the playful stick and rolling balls included as standard? Can I replace them myself?
Yes, both come standard with the interactive toy module, and they can also be swapped out for DIY replacements.
Can ROLA PetPal dispense wet food for cats?
It can dispense pet food or freeze-dried treats smaller than 12mm. Wet food and long strips of jerky aren't supported.
What's included in the Cloud+ service?
Cloud+ includes three main features:
1) 24/7 scheduled video recording and playback
2) Real-time smart alerts for notable events, with timestamps included in playback — even if you miss the live alert, you can quickly find the moment later using AI-tagged markers
3) Automatic 30-second highlight clips generated for each event
